(January 2018)
“I send this out a few times a year, using the same Google Sheet that I use to feed my OverDrive Library Card Manager to upload users. My Google Add-on of choice for that is Form Mule–I also use this for other database logins sometimes.” – Beth Hennes

Digital Library Cards
Template
Created by Beth Hennes, Madison West High School (Formerly at Marshall Public Schools)
(March 2019)
“For our littlest kids without emails (PreK-3) and elementary who might rarely check email, we made “digital library cards” that we could print to send home (and laminate for classroom use). We made one mega-long PDF so that we could print more than one per page. My Google Add-on of choice for that is Autocrat. I used the Library Card Manager Google Sheet for that one too.

Menasha School District “Managing Holds” video
(December 2021)
“If you are like me, you realize that most of your students and staff don’t know how to access their Sora books on hold once they place them. My Students are crazy about putting books on hold, but not so much about actually getting those books which causes a slow down. So I made this quick, quirky video in hopes of helping students and staff.“

Connecting with your Public Library
Note: These resources are NOT about Public Library Connect, but rather the option for students to use Sora to also access materials from their public library, as long as they have a public library card. Materials from their public library DO NOT follow your school’s content access levels.
