WSDLC Project Managers will calculate your district’s price quote and prepare two enrollment agreements for you to sign.

Step 3

Sign/Return the Two Enrollment Agreements

When the two Enrollment Agreement forms have been signed and returned to the WSDLC Project Managers, they will then turn the rest of the onboarding process over to the WSDLC team at OverDrive.

Step 4

Complete OverDrive’s Onboarding Process

The WSDLC team at OverDrive will reach out to your noted Main and Technical Contacts with an initial “Getting Started” email.
*If your Technical Contact does not respond to this email, the process will not move forward.

What does a WSDLC Membership Cost?

Only $1.68* per student enrolled

Details on Cost Calculations:
WSDLC Membership costs are calculated by taking the total FTE of WSDLC-enrolled students from the previous school year (as reported in WISEdash) and multiplying it by $1.68*.
A prorated cost is calculated by multiplying the fraction of a year that you’re prorated for (#/12) by the cost for a full year ($1.68*), and then by your WSDLC-enrolled FTE.

*The 2025-26 membership year cost is $1.68/student; The 2026-27 membership year will increase to $1.72/student.
The WSDLC Board will review the pricing structure again in Spring 2026.

When will access begin?

Mid-August – June Enrollments

Enrollments that are received between Mid-August and June can choose to either start right away (prorated), or can wait to begin access with the start of the following membership year.

Prorated enrollments will always have a billing start date of the 1st of a given month:

• If the completed enrollment form is received before the 15^th of a month, that subscription will be prorated to the 1^st of the following month.
  For example: An enrollment form received on September 10^th would be prorated to October 1^st
• If the completed enrollment form is received after the 15^th of a month, then it will be prorated to the 1^st of the second successive month.
  For example: An enrollment form received on February 17^th would be prorated to April 1^st.
  

The proration gives OverDrive enough time to make sure everything is properly set up in their system so that there are as few technical issues as possible when you begin paying for your subscription.

June – August Enrollments

New enrollments that are received between June and August of each year will begin with the new membership year in September, or can be prorated to begin at a later date.

Regardless of the billing start date, districts will be able to begin accessing the shared collections as soon as OverDrive completes the onboarding process.
