April’s Usage Stats
Last month we reported that March’s usage saw a dip (we’re looking at you, well-deserve Spring Breaks), but April bounced back in a spectacular way, with an all-new record for checkouts in a single month! April had 255,510 total checkouts of materials from 47,759 Wisconsin K12 students (the 2nd-highest number of students checking out titles in a single month).
And with students logging back into Sora, finding readalikes for those most popular titles and checking out the titles they have on hold, the average waiting period dropped significantly as well, going from an average of 36 days in March all the way down to 24 days in April. And we can’t leave all of you and your work out of these lowered wait times: schools that are able to purchase high-hold titles via their Advantage accounts play such a big role in all WSDLC students’ Sora experience~
You can view the full calendar year’s statistics, which includes detailed information on circulation numbers, holds, and other metrics, broken down by month, as a Google Sheet here.
If you’re interested in historical data, you can find .xlsx spreadsheets of past statistics at the bottom of the WSDLC Year to Date Statistics page.
