Flipped Classroom Trainings Begin September 1st!
The WSDLC’s Flipped Classroom Trainings are designed to help new members get acquainted with OverDrive, as well as well as serving as a refresher for returning members. Each month is dedicated to a different topic, and in addition to having available materials for members to review on their own time, OverDrive staff will be ready to schedule one-on-one 20 minute sessions to answer any questions.

OverDrive Media Station is now OverDrive Digital Showcase (ODS)
OverDrive announced this morning the updates to OverDrive Media Station, which has been renamed to OverDrive Digital Showcase (ODS). ODS gives schools the opportunity to have a physical screen where students can easily browse through a sample of titles available through Sora. From the station, students will have the opportunity to send titles to their device for checkout using email, text message, or a QR code.
ODS will go live on September 6th, replacing OverDrive Media Station for everyone. Districts can choose to move to ODS any time before September 6th as well.

Over the next few weeks, WSDLC project managers and the OverDrive team will be hosting back to school webinars to help our members get [re]introduced to what their WSDLC membership can bring to their schools.
