Final Day to Complete the Annual WSDLC Membership Survey!
The 2022 WSDLC Member Survey will be closing this evening (Tuesday March 15th). We have had a high number of insightful and helpful responses already, but more is always better!
The WSDLC Membership Survey is an opportunity for members to provide valuable feedback to the WSDLC Board and Project Managers. The survey will help the WSDLC Board with the further development of the Consortium and the OverDrive service. We will share the survey results with the WSDLC membership at the April membership meeting.
The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
Thank you again for your time and thoughts!

New Titles Added in February
Last month, a total of 243 completely new titles were added to the shared collection! One of the latest titles in the Big Nate comic collection series is seeing a lot of use: the ebook Beware of Low-Flying Corn Muffins has had over 300 checkouts since being purchased on February 22nd. In fact, of the titles added last month, there are seven (all ebooks and all titles in the Juvenile collection) that already have over 100 checkouts.
A complete list of all of the new titles added in February 2022, along with their format and content access level(s), can be downloaded here.

Flipped Classroom: Purchasing
During the month of March, we’re taking a look at Purchasing! In this Flipped Classroom, you’ll get an inside look at how titles are selected and purchased for the Consortium, and you’ll also find more details on how to purchase titles for your Advantage account: learn how to build and manage carts, add content credit, adjust the content access level for your purchases, and read some tips and tricks on how to avoid accidentally purchasing titles more than once (when you don’t necessarily mean to)!
During our Flipped Classroom months, materials on various topics are available for members to review, and OverDrive staff is ready to schedule one-on-one 20-minute sessions to answer your questions. Please let us know if you have any questions or comments on the flipped classroom content; we’d love to hear what you’re thinking!

2022-23 Membership Renewal Quotes Available Soon
DPI released the 2021-22 Certified Enrollment Numbers last week, and WSDLC Project Managers are knee-deep in spreadsheets and calculations to determine members’ costs for the 2022-23 membership year. Once we have those numbers finalized, quotes will be emailed to participating school’s WSDLC Main Contact*. We anticipate having quotes ready to send out by April 1st.
As a reminder, in March 2021, the WSDLC Board approved a 3% increase for each of the succeeding three membership years. The price will be $1.60 per student for the 22-23 membership year.
*Not sure who your Main Contact is? You can reach out to us at wsdlc-info@wils.org to find out!

Send Us Your Tiny Case Study Ideas!
WSDLC’s Tiny Case Studies are brief, practical summaries of outstanding things that some WSDLC members are doing that involve Sora and serve as an opportunity for members to share a WSDLC-related problem they had and how they solved it. We highlight these Tiny Case Studies during various Flipped Classroom months, but you can also view them all by clicking the following link or copy/pasting it into your browser: https://wsdlc.org/training/tiny-case-studies/.
If you’ve done something lately that you’d like to share with the WSDLC Community, let us know! Maybe you’ve put together some creative marketing, started a student reading bookclub, cleared a hurdle with getting students to team up for 2022’s Battle of the Books, engaged your school’s teachers on how they can utilize these resources in their classroom, or made a successful case for funding. No idea or accomplishment is too small!
You can submit your tiny case study idea by email at wsdlc-info@wils.org or complete the idea form, and we will reach out to you with the next steps!
